The adidas Solar Glide 5 for men are neutral running shoes for all types of terrain. The Solar Glide 5 is the latest in the series of reliable and versatile running shoes for your daily workouts. Or use them during your runs. With the Solar Glide you can do anything.

The shoe is light and quite simple. No complicated technologies have been applied. Less is more, a reliable and slim running shoe.

The upper part is made of breathable mesh material. In the mesh upper there are reinforcement pieces so that the shoe offers more support. The heel is slightly narrower than the Solar Glide 4. The heel fits better to offer more support again. It is made of X-hatch tactic, a breathable material to improve breathability. Optimized cushioning in the collar and tongue of the shoe provides more comfort and a superior entry feel. The upper part is made with recycled material and plastic.

The midsole contains the new Boost "Double Bubble" material. This material provides more energy return, cushioning and comfort than the other Boost material. With every stride you take, the cushioning material captures the impact and converts it into energy. That energy is recovered at the time of takeoff. Along with the light weight, this gives you a feeling of energy while running. The Continental Wear sole is designed to provide maximum grip where you need it during your stride.
