The GEL-SONOMA 6 trail running shoes have been updated offering a new last design for a more secure fit in the midfoot and heel.

Underfoot comfort is the result of a full-length AMPLIFOAM™ midsole and GEL™ cushioning technology unit that sits where runners need the most shock absorption.

The ORTHOLITE™ insole increases the smoothness of each step and the multidirectional grip outsole improves traction on different surfaces. They also offer extraordinary durability thanks to the solid rubber sole.

Inspired by the ASICS trail running family, these shoes are a versatile offering that's functional for trail running, light hiking and other outdoor adventures. We've also used fewer resources on stencil coloring in the interest of a more sustainable design approach.

The goal this season was to improve the fit of the upper, so we've implemented a new last design that provides a more secure midfoot and heel fit, as well as a wider toe box that allows the toes to spread. The synthetic seams in the liners are designed to enhance durability while helping keep feet secure and reducing slipping.
