Fulcrum Speed 40C + 55C Clincher Wheelset 2018
While the Speed 40 front wheel provides manageability and lightness, with a calmer and more relaxed ride without compromising aerodynamics; The Speed 55 rear takes advantage of every last watt thanks to its rigidity and lightness, converting them into progress through its low aerodynamic resistance.
Using technologies inherited from Campagnolo, the Speed are the spearhead of the Fulcrum brand in terms of multipurpose carbon clincher wheels.
Thanks to the "Twill" braiding of its fibers that improves the absorption and reactivity of the carbon rim without holes in the internal wall, its wide 24.2mm throat. which enables ideal mounting of 25mm covers. From now on, its dynamic balance and its AC3 braking track, for optimal braking in any condition, we get a tire with the maximum performance, reliability and technology of the Campagnolo group.
In the search for greater lightness and rigidity, oversized hubs and adjustment flanges are used, with USB ceramic bearings, and straight double-thick steel spokes with aluminum nipples, to reduce the weight on the periphery of the wheel, increasing its reactivity and predisposition to changes of rhythm.
The 18 front spokes in a radial arrangement, and the 21 rear spokes with Two to One spokes (two right by one left), allow cyclists up to 109kg. can enjoy wheels with aerodynamics, rigidity, lightness and reactivity never seen before.
