The Giro Synthe II MIPS helmet is the update of the original Synthe model, with the aim of achieving a cooler and more comfortable helmet. The compact design has great aerodynamics, as well as offering impressive cooling power to keep your head ventilated at all times during sports.
Leading technology in flat displacement within the helmet, designed to reduce rotational forces that can result from certain impacts.
When a head rotates rapidly and comes to a sudden stop, rotational acceleration can cause high levels of stress in brain tissue. The stretching of the tissue caused by these movements can lead to various types of brain injury.
We believe that helmets equipped with MIPS technology can add a higher level of protection against certain types of impacts. MIPS uses a flat displacement system that moves inside the helmet, mimicking the brain's own protection system.
Its high-performance features include the Roc Loc 5 Air fit system, with bi-directional adjustment, and the integrated MIPS system, a brain protection system designed to redirect rotational forces away from the brain and provide more protection against certain impacts.
