The Wahoo ELEMNT BOLT GPS cycle computer has been designed with the integrated front mount that creates a system with a large, smooth surface for air to slide through, reducing wind resistance and the power (watts) required to maintain speed. In addition, the sides have been adjusted to maximize wind cutting properties, following long-proven aerodynamic shapes.

This cycle computer has been subjected to CFD (or computational fluid dynamics) tests, which consists of the use of applied physics and mathematics to visualize how air flows when it passes through an object and its impact on that object. The results were: more than 50% less drag (air resistance), cyclists can save about 1.5 watts and in a 40 km time trial, a cyclist at an average speed of 33 km / h will go approximately 12.6 seconds faster.
