The Mizuno Wave Rider 22 are the Japanese brand's iconic running shoes as the ultimate cushioning model for tackling long distances.
The Wave Rider 22 brings with it significant changes to make it a more flexible, dynamic and comfortable model, without reducing its shock-absorbing capacity one bit.
The midsole has been completely renewed. The U4ic and U4icX compounds continue to be the star materials, together with the CloudWave platform, the combination is perfect for the model to be a benchmark in greater cushioning capacity, impact dispersion, even stability and flexibility. The CloudWave board is lighter than previous versions of the Wave system.
Another novelty is at the top thanks to the implementation of the engineering mesh, and its two different types of mesh. That is, the lower mesh can be stretched if the movements are shorter; while the upper layer provides greater support to the foot. With this double mesh resource, Mizuno achieves greater comfort and support of the model.
The Mizuno Wave Rider 22 soles have a new pattern and a greater number of flex grooves: resistant and durable.
New design of the wedge in the heel to reinforce both the fluidity and cushioning of the model.
