The GEL-TRABUCO ™ 9 has been redesigned from top to bottom to establish itself as a trailblazing trail shoe. Robust and comfortable are the two terms that best describe this trail running shoe. It's for the off-road racer looking for excellent durability, protection, and grip.
After reinventing the shoe upper, this version weighs about one ounce (30g) less than its predecessor.
Advanced comfort comes from the FLYTEFOAM ™ midsole material that is combined with GEL ™ cushioning technology in the heel. Equipped with a DUOMAX ™ support system that creates a more stable footprint, this foam placement on the medial side of the midsole offers a firmer density that prevents the foot from turning too far inward (overpronation).
The studded outsole pattern features ASICSGRIP ™ rubber while incorporating an uphill and downhill stud pattern on the lateral and medial side of the shoe to enhance traction on slippery terrain. Plus, a rock protection plate helps the sole stay flexible and protects your foot from rough terrain or road debris.
The GEL-TRABUCO ™ 9 shoe is designed to help you fly on the trails with advanced traction both uphill and downhill, while the foam in the responsive midsole creates better propulsion.
