SRAM BB30 PressFit Bottom Bracket Cups
At SRAM they saw the opportunity to make a better bottom bracket press fit system, combining all the best of BB30 and PressFit in one package.
PressFit 30 will feature an integrated gasket, pre-assembled in the cups, to further extend bearing life.
SRAM BB30 PressFit Bottom Bracket Cups
The key difference with the PressFit 30 is how the bearings are mounted in the frame.
The bearings are housed in nylon cups that are pressed into the bottom bracket shell.
This 30mm bottom bracket shell is designed for axle cranks.
Frames will require a 46mm inner diameter bottom bracket shell to accommodate this system. PressFit 30 for road will require 68mm, while PressFit 30 for MTB will require 73mm.
