Saddle Fizik Adaptive Antares R3 Versus Evo Kium Black
Saddle Fizik Adaptive Antares R3 Versus Evo Kium Black
The result is a saddle divided into 4 main zones, each with its distinctive padding and mechanical properties that are progressively seamlessly joined into one single piece.

3D PRINTING PADDING
The evolution of digital 3D printing allowed Fizik to develop a new saddle without restrictions or limitations imposed by traditional production methods and materials.
The padding for the Adaptive saddle is manufactured by Carbon ™ using the revolutionary Carbon Digital Light Synthesis ™ (DLS ™) technology that uses digital ultraviolet light projection, oxygen permeable optics and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with excellent mechanical properties, resolution and surface finish.
CUSTOMIZED ABSORPTION ZOMES
With Carbon technology, our engineers and biomechanics can, for the first time, design and fabricate multiple unique functional zones within a single complete part and adjust the mechanical properties within each of these functional zones separately.
DEVELOPED IN THE LAB, TESTED ON THE ROAD
We test professional cyclists and amateur cyclists in our labs and on the road. In each phase of development, every variation was carefully tested. A great focus was also put on understanding how pressure patterns change based on different bike geometries and the rider's positions when riding.
