Tubular training clincher tire for full use and higher inflation pressure. Its fine tread contributes to its low rolling resistance and improves the quality of the race.
A tubular clincher, in the same way as a tubular, presses against the tire when inflated. Simultaneously, the bead blocks of the profiled rubber band extend and engage the shoulders of the rim and eliminate any rotation of the tubular clincher against the rim, as well as the possibility of ejecting the tubular clincher.
As the tubular clincher inflates, the side of the tread "digs" into the shoulders of the tire.
Benefits of Tufo tubular clincher tires: high inflation pressure of up to 15 bar (220 psi) without damaging the tire shoulders, even when the tire manufacturer specifies a lower inflation pressure (pressure is contained within the tubular clincher and does not affect the shoulders of the rim); same ride quality as with tubular tires; handling safety in the event of a puncture (the rider's stability is not affected), as it allows riding with the tubular clincher even after suffering a puncture; and easier installation and removal without the use of tools.
