Stronger riders now have the freedom to choose larger chainrings to achieve more top speed without sacrificing uphill range.
More time is spent at the top of the cassette, where athletes' power transfer is most efficient and wear is minimized. Featuring the industry's strongest X-Dome™ architecture and the proven XD™ driver body, it's also backward compatible to give riders even more Eagle™ upgrade options for their current bikes.
With multiple Olympic, World Cup and World Championship titles, it's also a great fit with XX1 Eagle AXS™-enabled components. The XG-1299 cassette utilizes the full depth of the new Eagle™ Colorsystem. Available in black, gold, rainbow and new copper, the XG-1299 cassette completes the look of the world's most accomplished and sought after bikes.

X-GLIDE 2 is the new generation of SRAM X-GLIDE technology optimized for the EAGLE 12-speed cassette. Provides quick and precise shifting performance throughout the gear range and increases chain retention on larger sprockets.
- XD cassette body
The XD is a cassette body that allows, by design, to use a small 10-tooth sprocket and ensures an improved interface with the cassette.
