In its fifth version, the Challenger exceeds its reputation for versatility. Fast and light for the trail, the geometry of its midsole provides a soft support on the ground. Its distinctive multi-studded outsole leaves no doubt of its trail shoe heritage. The studs are positioned closer together in the heel for a smoother and more consistent stride, and further apart in the forefoot for better grip on dirt and in wet conditions. The Challenger ATR 5 also has reinforcements in the midfoot area to improve grip, as well as a buttress in the heel area to improve the safety of the laterals and the intermediate area.
