Technology:
AXSâ„¢
AXS is SRAM's electronic integration platform that combines software and electronic components for bikes. The SRAM AXS app allows you to view battery status, change component behavior, adjust controls, receive maintenance reminders, and update firmware.
eTapâ„¢
SRAM's eTap is simple, unambiguous and intuitive shifting logic. With the right side shifter you move the rear derailleur in to a larger sprocket, with the right side shifter you move the rear derailleur out to a smaller sprocket. With the gear lever pressed, you can directly change various gears. Depressing both shifters at the same time causes derailleur movement on 2-speed derailleur systems.
X-Syncâ„¢
The X-Sync tooth design is characterized by long, rounded, sloping tooth edges with a narrow profile. X-Sync technology derailleur pulleys support the chain guide and are unaffected by dust and mud.
Orbitâ„¢
Orbit technology is an innovative way to control the movement of the rear derailleur. It uses silicone fluid as part of a sleek, ultralight cushioning system. Compared to a conventional friction clutch system, Orbit technology does not create additional resistance on the rear derailleur spring during slow or light movement. This results in easier changing and removal of the rear wheel. During the ride, the liquid damper retains the chain in a sophisticated and elegant way. With maximum reliability and chain tension, for 2 and 1 speed systems.
