THE PERFECT JERSEY FOR SPEED AND COMFORT
Some triathletes prefer long sleeves to achieve greater speed. Others prefer them for comfort and others to protect themselves from the sun's rays.
This garment guarantees all this. The aerodynamic speed is unmatched. It's what Castelli does best. For a year we have tested and developed a program in collaboration with the Trondheim University of Science and Technology in Norway to make our racing garments the most stylish. Comfort is the result of patterns designed by our expert engineers together with soft, high-performance Italian fabrics. We've reduced the number of seams to eliminate chafing so you can focus on your run.
Protection against sun rays ... You will have already trained for many hours until today. We have focused more on speed than on sun protection, but we have managed to block 94% of UV rays with our mesh fabric on the back without sacrificing speed, comfort and breathability. You'll want to put on some cream to protect yourself, but this fabric guarantees UPF 16 sun protection, while your cotton t-shirt probably has a UPF 8 index. Take note of the well-designed details: the two Castelli large capacity pockets are flat, but may contain sports apparel and supplements. SnapLock closures on the lower back to secure the Free Tri Short so that it does not roll up while swimming or pedaling.

● Freedom of movement in the water, aerodynamics on the bike, comfort during running.
● Aerodynamic Velocity Rev2 fabric on the front. The Velocity UPF 16 mesh fabric on the back blocks 94% of UV rays and provides high breathability.
● The 2 pockets on the back are flat to prevent sports supplements from falling out. Flat elastic band GIRO3 at the lower back.
● SnapLock closures on the lower back to secure the Free Tri Short from riding up while swimming or pedaling.
● YKK® Camlock® zipper.
● The sleeve reaches to the elbow for greater aerodynamics.
